Vision Statement:

“To foster a thriving and inclusive learning community, our comprehensive school counseling program envisions empowering newcomer students to discover their unique potential, embrace diversity, and cultivate the skills necessary for academic success, personal growth, and lifelong well-being.”

Mission Statement:

“Our mission is to provide both proactive and responsive guidance in a manner that newcomer students can understand, using school personnel and technology resources to ensure that the language used is in the student’s native language when necessary. Through personalized counseling, evidence-based interventions, and collaborative partnerships with educators and families, we aim to cultivate a safe, nurturing environment where students can overcome challenges, set meaningful goals, and build the resilience necessary for a successful future."

Adriana Martinez - Intervention Specialist

adriana.martinez@fwisd.org

Hi Dragons! I’m thrilled to be in my second year as the Intervention Specialist at INA. Before joining INA, I spent two years at World Languages Institute in Fort Worth and six years in Crowley ISD, where I had the opportunity to support a wide range of student needs and grow as a social worker. I’m a proud FWISD product and Tarleton State University alum. I am passionate about building strong relationships and collaborating with our amazing counselors and the INA team to ensure every student feels supported and has the opportunity to succeed.
