I teach 7th grade Science at International Newcomer Academy (INA), where I have had the privilege of working for 16 years. Throughout my time at INA, I have witnessed countless students overcome language barriers and cultural challenges to discover their potential. As the renowned educator Helen Keller once said, "Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much." This philosophy guides my approach in the classroom every day, as I work alongside my students to build their confidence and scientific understanding.
I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington, which provided me with a strong foundation in both science and education. My journey at INA has been incredibly rewarding, watching newcomer students grow into skilled learners. Each year brings new faces and new stories. I am proud to be part of a school community that celebrates diversity and transforms lives through education.
